1. Correspondence, 1932-1951. Includes letters from friends at Pitcairn Island, 1932-1936; letters concerning films made by C.E. Chauvel, and letters from Mrs. Duell, Albury containing suggestions for a Ned Kelly film. 2. Film scripts. 3. Miscellaneous, mainly typescript material collected for films, including reports on investigations in England and U.S.A. seeking co-operation for Australian film production, by Frederick Daniell, 1937. 4. Scrap book containing press cuttings re '40,000 horsemen' presented to Miss Betty Bryant with compliments of Y.K. Yao, manager, Universal Pictures Corporation of China, Hong Kong, and in turn sent to the Chauvels by Miss Bryant. Cuttings re other productions loose in volume when received, have been inserted at the end. 5-7. Photographs taken from the film '40,000 horsemen'. Photographs of First and Second World Wars.
